Check your brand’s AI readiness.
Brand truth is the approved, current set of brand guidelines and claims that people and AI tools use to describe your brand.

AI Brand Truth Check FAQs
-
A voice guide written for AI is specific enough that a model can copy it:
who you're talking to
what your voice traits mean in practice
which words to use and avoid
real examples of copy before and after it was fixed
Adjectives alone (\"friendly,\" \"bold\") give an AI tool nothing to follow.
Include:
Audience: who the brand is talking to, named or described.
Voice traits: three or so, each with a line on what it means and what it doesn't.
Words to use: preferred words and phrases.
Words to avoid: words, phrases, and claims-style language that are off limits.
Before-and-after examples: at least five rewrites of real copy, showing the before and the after.
Channel notes: how the voice shifts across channels such as product pages, email, social, and customer service replies.
Style rules: capitalization, punctuation, numbers, prices, dates, and whether you address customers formally or informally.
Owner and review date: who keeps it current and when it was last reviewed.
Keep your product naming glossary (official names, allowed short names, terms to avoid) beside it so writers and AI tools use the same names.
You don't need to paste anything to run the AI Brand Truth Check. If you have a voice guide, you can paste it in as plain text to see which of these items it covers.
-
A claims list is one document that holds every product and brand claim your team is cleared to make, written word for word, with the proof behind each one. AI tools, agencies, and customer-facing chat should take claims only from this list, never from old spec sheets, packaging files, or past retailer submissions.
For each claim, a complete list records:
Exact wording: the precise words to use, not a summary.
Proof: the test, study, certificate, or source that backs it.
Sign-off: who signed it off.
Date: when it was signed off or last reviewed.
Where it may be used: the channels and retailers where it is allowed.
Disclaimers: any qualifier that must appear with it, or a note that none is needed.
Products: which products it applies to.
You don't need to paste anything to run the AI Brand Truth Check. If you keep a claims list, you can paste it in as plain text, and the check marks each of these items as present, partly covered, or missing. Pasted text isn't stored. The check covers how your list is organized, not whether any claim is true or allowed. Have counsel review claims about health, safety, or children's products.

No. The AI Brand Truth Check does not test, track, or report on what ChatGPT, or any other AI tool, says about your brand.
Instead, it checks whether the materials people and AI tools use are clear, complete, and consistent. This includes your voice guide, approved claims, brand positioning, customer personas, and retailer requirements.
-
No. You do not need to upload, paste, or share confidential brand documents.
You answer simple pick-list questions about each type of brand source. If an answer needs clarification, you may see a few short follow-up questions.
-
No. Your results appear on screen instantly without an email address.
You only need to provide an email address if you want the full report. The full report includes a claims-list template and a voice-guide outline.
-
Give them one approved, up-to-date set of brand resources, including:
A brand voice guide
An approved claims list
Brand positioning and supporting proof points
Customer personas
Retailer and marketplace rules
A product naming glossary
Rules for how employees, agencies, and partners may use AI
Keeping these resources in one clear, approved source helps AI tools and outside partners represent your brand consistently.
-
Most brands benefit from both checks. If one check identifies a gap covered by the other, it will point you to the relevant next step.
